Drove to Olympic National Park today, passing throuth the town of Humptulips, WA. We are staying in another historic Inn, The Lake Quinnault Lodge. We saw the both the largest Red Cedar and Sitka Spruce trees in the world are within this rain forest area. Twelve feet of rain a year! They are within miles of each other. Had a great lunch at the lodge – Monte Cristo sandwich with Marion Berry jam. Kids swam in the pool. Enjoyed time out on the lawn over looking the lake and playing horseshoes. Nice ringer to win mom!
